Tropical storm Debby

I know everyone has heard about Debby the tropical storm that has caused damage to homes, roads, and bridges. I was shocked to read how some places experience 20 inches of rain, and to see right outside of peoples home were flooded. To hear the news say unless it is necessary to drive then stay at home made it serious, alot of buisiness and road areas had to be closed because of it. I think the bridge that had collapsed was a very big surprise to me especially since I caught video footage of how it did it within minutes.

My trip to ATL

                                                                  

 This was my first trip to Atlanta and these are a few things that I was able to see or even visit that made the trip memorable. To beable to see Martin Luther King Church was a very good experince for me because that is apart of history that I was able to see with my own eyes and not to mention the home in which he grew up in was a nice experience. We were able to stop and dine at Glady's Knight restaurant which was good even doe I did not try the chicken and waffles maybe next time I will try it, I never had that combination before. I also thought the underground mall was pretty neat especially since the mall is literally underground so that is very different from any of our malls. It was a whole lot more that I would have loved to see but just did not have enough time to do so but the last but least what also was interesting to me was how we could pass by some famous people homes and how they also was in the nightclubs.

                                                                 

The New Courthouse

The new courthouse house been the talk of the news lately, I must admit it looks real nice and very expensive. Im more surprised about how this big move was not very organized and planned out, especially with the parking which always been a issue downtown and very much will continue to be a problem. The safety is very much a concern at this moment, now its like everyone is anticipating when the courthouse will be open to the public. The overall bill from the cost to build it, to the cost of the furniture is very shocking to me but I still can't wait to go inside and see everything for myself in person.
